At Milliwave, we are building the next generation of high-performance millimeter-wave monolithic microwave integrated circuits (MMICs)—designed, developed, and proudly built in India. Focused on front-end solutions for defense, aerospace, and secure communications, we specialize in creating custom RF chipsets that deliver unmatched performance, power efficiency, and compact integration.

Founded by Dr. Asmita Dani, a leading MMIC design expert and IEEE-MTT member, Milliwave brings decades of domain knowledge in compound semiconductor technologies including GaN, GaAs, and InP, along with hands-on experience in power amplifier design, phased array integration, and high-frequency systems.

Our mission is to bridge the technology gap by offering fabless, Indian-origin MMIC IPs that support national security and self-reliant innovation in microwave and mmWave electronics. From Ku-band to W-band, our products are tailored to meet stringent requirements of modern radar systems, satellite communications, electronic warfare, and next-gen connectivity infrastructure.

Dr. Asmita Dani – Founder & Chief Technologist

Dr. Asmita Dani is the visionary behind Milliwave. With over a decade of hands-on expertise in MMIC and RFIC design, she brings deep technical insight into the world of millimeter-wave integrated circuits, especially in the realm of defense, aerospace, and secure communication systems.

A seasoned engineer, researcher, and IEEE-MTT member, Dr. Dani has led and contributed to multiple high-frequency front-end design projects using GaAs, GaN, and InP technologies, with a focus on high-efficiency power amplifiers and compact solid-state solutions. Her career spans both academia and industry, blending research excellence with product-oriented execution.

Prior to founding Milliwave, Dr. Dani worked across various advanced semiconductor and hardware development environments, managing critical vendor relationships, overseeing fabless chip development, and leading multi-disciplinary teams to deliver production-grade RF solutions.

Driven by a passion to contribute to India’s self-reliance in defense-grade microelectronics, she established Milliwave as a platform to harness local design expertise, collaborate with trusted foundries, and deliver state-of-the-art MMICs built for Indian and global applications.
